If enabled for the organization, site administrators have the ability to select custom gender fields for their organization's participants.
To update the set of Genders you wish to make selectable on your site, navigate to the global Admin > Settings > Organization page and scroll down to Genders. Toggle the non-standard gender fields that you wish to enable on your site. Each gender will need to map to either male or female strictly for event cap purposes. (Example: An event may have set a maximum capacity of Male or Female players - in this case, participants who select a non-binary gender will count against the Male or Female cap based on the selection in the "Gender Cap" column.)
After you have enabled custom genders for your organization, users can update their profile setting.
