Copying an existing event can save you time when creating a new event. This is useful, for example, if you run the same tournament annually.
What Information is Copied Over?
The Copy Event function duplicates:
- Divisions & Restrictions
- General Price (but not price points)
- Data Collection
- Add On Products
- Optional Settings
- Event location(s)
- Tags
- Coordinators
Note: You will still need to add the event overview, registration dates, price points, and waivers to the new event.
How to Copy an Event
- Go to Events on your global toolbar, click +Add Event
- Click the copy button (near the page title, top left)
- Look up the past event that you wish to copy (the event must be public) and select it
- Add the Name and Date for your new event
