Types of Mailing Lists
Event Admin List
Mailing lists that send messages exclusively to event coordinators. Update recipients by navigating to the event and editing the Event Coordinators under the "Event" admin list.
Examples: Winter League Coordinators, Wildwood Tournament Directors.
Team List
Mailing lists for teammates to communicate within their team.
Examples: Team 01, Awesome Team.
Event List
Mailing lists based on the Registrants list, created using specific filters.
Examples: Waitlisted Players for League X, Players Missing a Signed Waiver for Tournament Y.
Distribution List
Mailing lists created using filters applied to the entire website user base. These are not automatically generated.
Examples: Males under 23 years old, Players with membership who played between specific dates.
Schedule List
Mailing lists derived from a schedule, currently used only for reporting missing game results. To email captains about unreported scores, go to the event schedule, filter by Missing Results, and use the email icon. In the future, users will be able to create custom mailing lists from schedules (e.g., to notify teams about field closures for a specific night).
Example: Summer League games with Missing Results.
Alias
A mailing list for a single, specific person. Create an Alias by navigating to Admin > Community > Message Lists > Add.
Example: Jimmy.
Group List
A mailing list for a defined group of people. Create a Group List by navigating to Admin > Community > Message Lists > Add. Example: Jimmy, Jenny, Johnny, and Joanne.
